Heavy Crossbowman

Mandate disciples armed with heavy mechanical crossbows, usually stationed on elevated platforms to keep watch. Though slowed by their heavy armor and weapons, they sound a sharp whistle at the first sign of danger before opening fire. If enemies close in, they swing the heavy crossbow mechanism like a blunt weapon.

These sentries had long seen the Mandate's deep rooted corruption. Before Huangxing introduced Perfect Transcension, cleansing those old ills was little more than empty talk. Afterward, they finally had the power to purge them by force.
