The Woman
She appeared once at the top of the Dovecote tower, swordplay light and graceful, her face already burned into a twisted hollow by Sha-Chi.
A thread of reason remains in her. She stays on the tower as though waiting for someone who matters to her.
Combat
Her blade is light and graceful, but the hand behind it is no longer her own.
When she fought Soul she had no intention of giving her all; Sha-Chi drove her, and she could barely hold herself back.
Background
She came from an evil sect, yet fell in love with the Chief Disciple of a Mandate sect. The Mandate's upper ranks could never tolerate the sect behind her, and that love became their excuse to persecute her: humiliation after humiliation, then a hypocritical show of mercy that left her alive.
Those same leaders had no stomach for standing against inhuman things, yet went to great lengths against a small sect tucked away in a quiet corner of the world; they called themselves the righteous path, and fell far short of the disciples beneath them.
To survive, and to take revenge, she underwent Transcension. Standing atop the tower above the ruined Mandate Encampment, she may wonder whether it was all for nothing — or she may hold that she has no regrets for a life of love and hate.
