Yuyin

Yuyin led the Kunlun Sect as Senior Sister of the Three Pillars of Kunlun, with Huangxing as Second Brother and Moji as Junior Brother. She was fierce and strong-willed, and the Wulin held her in reverence; she often took orphaned girls into her care, not to push them toward martial mastery but to give them a corner of peace.

When the Maskwalker unrest broke out, the Mandate sent the three to the country around Yecheng, to draw the smaller sects together and clear out the Maskwalkers left behind.

The Mandate then named her Commander-in-Chief of the Eastern Wulin, with authority over the elite of every sect in the east. She had sworn an alliance with Zuo Shang of the Order to strike the Maskwalkers down together.

In the joint operation a year ago, Huangxing and Zuo Shang had already come to terms: Zuo Shang asked him to his face whether it would interest him if Yuyin were made to disappear during the operation. She vanished. Huangxing announced that she had fallen in battle, swore by her death that he had found the art of Perfect Transcension, and vowed to lead the camp's disciples until the heretics were gone. Moji said plainly that Huangxing and Zuo Shang had murdered his Senior Sister. To Huangxing, she had always been too bound by the rules of the Wulin.

The Lu Clan Shrine at the summit of the Mountain of Imprisonment was later rebuilt as a temple to the Merciful Lady, and Huangxing made his seat there; the Chord, struck down together with her, was held beneath the shrine, behind the base of the Merciful Lady's statue.
