Dusk
the Puppeteer
A renegade puppeteer who fights through puppets and severed limbs, scarlet eyes burning behind a bronze mask.
In Combat
He fights at a distance, ringing the Puppeteer's Bell to drive puppet constructs and massive severed limbs forward in concert.
Mid-fight he calls up doubles to blur which figure is really him.
Yellow ritual robes, an ancient bronze mask, and the scarlet eyes behind it are what people remember first.
The Disposal Pit
Dusk has hidden in the puppet disposal pit so long that his mind has come apart.
The broken bodies piled around him are cast-offs from the Herald's puppet experiments, still holding fragments of the villagers' minds, and he was the one ordered to dump them there.
Their voices beg him without pause to take them home.
The End
To keep the Merciful Lady from descending, he willingly underwent Transcension and feigned loyalty to the Herald, promising the villagers a cure for the slumbering sickness.
In the end he asks Soul to finish him, and with his last shred of clarity burns his body away to show Soul the ritual of the High Elders.
