Cliffside Lodge Rescue

Lan Lan says Junior Sister Meng is hidden in the tunnel beneath the lodge and asks Soul to save her on his way past. The lodge in question is the Cliffside Lodge.

Only the request is recorded here, not its outcome.

A thief who gives his name as Wang says more of his wounded comrades are still hiding in the woods; Soul has him write down where they are and says the medicine will be taken to them. In the same scene he warns Yu'er that the place is dangerous and tells her he will come back for her once Pangzhen is found.

The scene text later records that Zhen the "Slippery Eel" swallowed Yu'er's life-saving pill, and shortly after that the thief was regaining his senses and out of danger. That confirms one man treated; it does not mean the rest were, and no reward is written in from it.

On the second floor of the mountain lodge there is a tiger-headed cellar crank, with traces of toxic gas still lingering in its slot.
