Remnant Dust
The currency Ability Training runs on. The Illusion of Inanis spends it to restore the abilities lost to Heart Damage.
What It Is
Before the Realm of Mirage, the Illusion of Inanis explains that Remnant Dust can be used to restore the abilities lost when the heart was pierced.
The training tutorial puts it the same way: use Remnant Dust to activate abilities you have already unlocked.

Fluid Form showed 0, so not every node asks for Remnant Dust.
Reverting a weapon or a Phantom Edge returns the materials and Remnant Dust already spent, and resetting all Ability Training refunds every Remnant Dust and Banyan's Heart spent.
