Baishan Stormswords

A pair of long swords, the sacred treasure of the Baishan Sect. One is light and one is heavy, one draws the wind and one keeps the thunder. They belonged to Bi Taotao, Master of the Baishan Sect.

Baishan Stormswords is a matter of accumulation. Wind Sword and Thunder Sword each build their own force; with both in hand the wielder enters Baishan's Blessing and Attack climbs. Only then does Lightning Storm come out — one strike, and both states are spent with it.

Its combo cuts on the same principle, wind for guidance and thunder for edge, pressing through in an interwoven line that closes fast and hard.

Once Lightning Storm can pull enemies into one place, every enemy it hits gains both the Wind Gauge and the Thunder Gauge. The more it gathers, the faster it builds, the closer it fights — that is the way of Baishan.

• Active | Baishan Wind-Thunder Slash (1 Sha-Chi): a fierce sequence of slashes guided by wind and edged with thunder. Unblockable.
• Special | Baishan's Blessing: entered while both Wind Sword and Thunder Sword are held; Attack is increased. The state ends after a short while and both swords vanish with it.
• Special | Lightning Storm: while Baishan's Blessing is active, unleash a powerful Lightning Storm and end Wind Sword and Thunder Sword early.
• Soul Tempering | Unending Storm: Lightning Storm pulls enemies in, and every enemy hit builds both the Wind Gauge and the Thunder Gauge.
• Later | Centered Breath, Elemental Confluence, Wind Infusion, Baishan's Divine Favor

Bi Taotao led the Baishan Sect, and the paired swords were its heirloom, passed down through the school — wind and thunder are the whole of it. Unleashing Lightning Storm with them unlocks the achievement "Baishan Tempest".
