Juggernaut
Commander Bi Feng's heavy saber: immense shield-breaking, a Red Edge gauge fed by parries, and one enormous slash to cash it in.
Form
A heavy saber, all its weight in the steel, slow off the mark and very heavy where it lands. It was Commander Bi Feng's own blade, built on the saber pattern: not for lightness, but for pinning a man down with one cut.
Combat
Juggernaut takes its damage at the shield. Its shield-breaking is high enough to tear a guard open front-on, which makes an enemy who hides behind a raised shield the easier problem.
The real loop is the parry. A perfect block adds [Red Edge]; at full stacks the blade turns red, and every stack can then be spent at once on a single crushing slash. The more exactly you catch the blow, the harder the answer.
The active art brands enemies with [Bandit-Slayer Mark]: marked foes take more damage and lose Sha-Chi faster. A Red Edge slash landed on one of them takes most of a life bar with it.
Arts
- Active | Bandit-Slaying Rampage: Spend 1 Sha-Chi for a flurry of blade-wave-infused slashes that applies [Bandit-Slayer Mark], raising the damage the enemy takes and the Sha-Chi it loses. Unblockable.
- Special | Crimson Wheel Slash: A perfect block grants [Red Edge]; at full stacks the blade turns red, and all of it can be spent for one powerful slash.
- Soul Tempering | Unfading Sunset: [Crimson Wheel Slash] no longer consumes [Red Edge] when it strikes an enemy carrying [Bandit-Slayer Mark].
- Later | Blood-Fed Edge, Sunset-Stained Edge, Restless Wave, Annihilating Slash
Origin
Bi Feng bore the title Giant Saber and commanded the saber corps; this blade swept the bandits out of the ruined town, and its reputation came from that work. Defeating Zhu Yuan of the Flame Saber and Bi Feng himself unlocks the achievement "The Two Blade Masters".
