The Lady's Fan

A fan of bone. It belonged to Meng Hua, the Merciful Lady of the Blossom Veil, and it was hers before she took that name — ice, fire, lightning and Chaos all come out of this one fan.

The fan kills through sigils, not through its ribs. Attacks store different [Arcane Sigils], and releasing them together produces an effect decided by the combination: a wave of fire spreading from your feet to burn everything near, lightning called down with a swing, an ice construct left behind to fire spikes, or lightning and flame striking and burning at once.

Some outcomes do not strike at all — a brief increase to damage, or a step back after which a successful parry calls lightning down on the attacker.

Order does not matter, only the mix, so what to store and when to spend it is the entire discipline. The active art tears open a rift to the Discordance and clears the field with a storm of chaotic flame, refilling sigils at random and stocking the next round before it begins.

• Active | Boundless Blight: Spend 1 Sha-Chi to open a rift to the Discordance, unleashing a wide storm of chaotic flame that engulfs all enemies, and store [Arcane Sigils] at random.
• Special | Arcane Sigils: Attacks store different sigils; using the art again repeats the most recent one.
• Special | Sigil Burst: Spend every sigil, order irrelevant, for an effect set by the mix: a burning wave of fire, called lightning, an ice construct firing spikes, lightning and fire together, a brief damage increase, or a backward step after which a parry calls down lightning.
• Soul Tempering | Dark Sigil Burst: Greatly enhances every [Sigil Burst] effect; sustained effects last twice as long.
• Later | The Lady's Grace, Blight-Fueled Power, Dark Law, Master of the Arcane

Meng Hua was worshipped as the Merciful Lady of the Blossom Veil, and the fan belongs to the woman she was before that title. A bone fan that channels ice, fire, lightning and Chaos was never an ordinary weapon of the Wulin.
