Wild Oriole Sword
A light, slender sword received from Mu Xiaokui; swift and dense, and in Oriole Song every strike throws a blade wave.
Form
A light, slender sword, narrow and thin in the blade, that leaves the scabbard almost without a sound.
It is the Young Mistress's blade, with keenness and speed pushed as far as they go: light in the hand, yet enough to fill the air with a dazzling flurry once it is set loose.
Combat
Speed is its only route. The sword moves light and strikes densely, keeping the enemy pinned where they stand with a run of attacks that never lets them square their weapon.
Once Oriole Song opens, every strike cuts loose an air-rending blade wave as piercing as an oriole's cry, and the pressure extends out to mid range.
Between combos the Tianmiao Sword can be called in for a dual strike — long and short covering one another, feint and true blow trading places.
Arts
Active | Wild Oriole Sword Art: consumes 1 point of Sha-Chi to assail a powerful enemy with an unrelenting, airtight flurry. Unblockable.
Special | Oriole Song: consume Sha-Chi to enter the Oriole Song state; while it holds, every attack unleashes a blade wave.
Soul Tempering | Tianmiao · Wild Oriole: during combos, Mu Tianmiao's sword joins for dual-sword attacks; in Oriole Song, the Tianmiao Sword throws a stronger blade wave.
Later | Oriole Mark, Potent Mark, Bursting Mark, Lingering Mark: four forms of one line, all bearing the mark.
Origin
The sword was received from Mu Xiaokui. As the blade of the Order's Young Mistress it was made very light and very quick, with nothing spared.
It passed from her hand into the wielder's, and that lightness became the start of an entirely different style.
