Jade-Face
A Maskwalker in a jade mask who taunts Soul along the mountain path, fighting beside two doubles.
The Maskwalker
A Maskwalker who dogs Soul along the mountain path, his jade mask painted in colours gaudy and grotesque.
He watches Soul climb the whole way to the summit with amusement, more playful than murderous.
He trails along the mountain road, taunting without pause, yet never quite commits, as though he only wants to see how far Soul will climb.
Combat
He fights beside two doubles: Jade Mask spins rings with sly, shifting motions, Gold Mask thrusts a sword at vicious angles, Iron Mask swings a blade with brutal force.
Feint and true strike weave together, and the eerie grin comes just before the killing blow.
Background
Huangxing sent him to watch Soul's progress on the road, yet he only looked on in amusement as Soul climbed to the peak — a temper far stranger than anyone else in Huangxing's service.
His arts mix in foreign methods and may share an origin with Thread-Binding; what place he holds under Huangxing is still unknown.
The fight in the shrine did not seem to finish him either, and that may be the very card he kept in reserve.
