Leads by Area
The branch quest asks what happened to the Pillars. One clue points to the Sha-Chi Tower in Weeping Creek Valley, which served as a temporary base for one of their squads.
The Mandate Encampment lies northeast of the forest. Its outer gate is barred. The quest points Soul to Pangzhen to find Wei Sanchuan; his body was left in a well, and the key to the encampment's outer gate remained with him.
Inside the encampment, the objective points to the training grounds deep within. Its clue says Wan Jun, once a follower of Huangxing, had become something no longer human.
The mountain clues point to an illusion gate northeast of Meigu Lake. A quest detail says that playing the Illusory Pipa opened the gate and led Soul to the summit path; the objective there names Huangxing.
At the Shrine, the objective says to use Huangxing's Flying Guillotine on the mechanism at the base of the Lady's statue to free Chord from beneath the shrine.
The objective set also points to Mountain of Imprisonment in search of Huangxing. Moji marked the northern range as the place where Huangxing would meet the Young Master and where crying had been heard.
The Quest and the Book
The branch quest and the Pillars of Kunlun book share a name but cover different material. The book preserves three short disciple tributes to Yuyin, Huangxing, and Moji; the quest follows the locations and clues connected to their story.
In-game description
Even now, the name of the Pillars of Kunlun still carries great renown throughout the Wulin. As though the more often their deeds are told, and the farther their legend spreads, the longer the glory of those bygone days might endure, and the longer this crumbling Mandate might hold together.
